On 3rd July 2006, Blacon Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder hosted a conference at Chester Town Hall.
The conference delegates heard from Pathfinder's management, consultants, key partnership coordinators and local residents about the successes they had achieved working together in Blacon.
A recent independent poll conducted by MORI showed significant improvements in the Blacon area across a whole range of key indicators.
The keynote speech was delivered by Phil Woolas MP, the minister for communities and social cohesion. In his speech he stated Blacon Pathfinder, one of 39 Pathfinder projects across the country, was one of, if not the best performing of all the projects.
