The Big Blacon Poetry Day

Image: Poet entertains in Blacon

Poet and comedian Ian MacMillan visited Blacon at the end of September as part of the Chester Literature Festival.

He spent the best part of a day walking round Blacon, meeting residents and visiting a few landmarks in the neighbourhood.

After some refreshments at the Blacon Library, Ian worked with over 20 residents on a poem for Blacon.

People who joined Ian thoroughly enjoyed their venture into poetry and the results of their efforts are here.
